General Exhibition Rules & Guidelines

1.    Organisers: Mumbai Mudrak Sangh
2.    Exhibitor : is defined as any company / organization participating in PRINTECH 2009.
3.   The Organiser will allot the stands on a 'first come first served' basis and reserves the right to allocate to the exhibitor        location / space configuration other than the one originally allocated.
4.   Each exhibitor will pay 10% of the space rent as refundable security deposit, subject to a minimum of Rs. 10000/-             and  maximum of Rs. 25000/- Deposits, net of dues collectable from exhibitors, if any, will be refunded within four        weeks of conclusion of the event.
5.   Any additional item utilized over and above that to be supplied under Shells Stand Scheme will be charged for in        advance. Exhibitors availing bare space will only be given a chalk marked area and all electrical points, furniture, etc        availed will be charged separately with applicable taxes.
6.   Exhibitors taking Bare Space may take possession of their area from 16th December 2009, and those taking Shell        stand space will be allotted their stands from 17th December 2009 onwards till 8 pm on 17th December 2009. Full        and final payment of participation fees, security deposit and charges for other additional services by banker's draft or        bankers cheque will be a pre-condition for handing over possession. Should the exhibitor not make full payment or not        occupy space by the time limit specified for installation of exhibits, the organiser reserves the right to re-allocate or use        the space, as they deem appropriate.
7.   All exhibitors will display material within the allocated exhibit space provided by the organiser. Special structures must        not interfere with the overall exhibition format or the visibility of other stands. The design of such structures or display        must be submitted for the approval of the organiser at least 30 days prior to the start of the exhibition. The organiser        reserves the right to specify changes in the design and such changes shall be carried out by the exhibitor. If the        changes requested by the organiser are not be carried out, the requisite work shall be completed by the organizers at         the entire risk and expenses of the exhibitor.
8.    All stand construction work should be completed by mid-night of 17th December 2009. Exhibitors are not permitted to        store exhibit materials or place employees in non-allocated areas.
9.    The exhibitor will ensure that the flooring, walls, lifts and all other structures and fittings at the venue are not damaged        in any respect and that adequate safety measures are taken in that regard. The exhibitor shall make good to the        organiser all costs, damages and expenses resulting from fire or for any other damage caused to the stall structure        etc. due to the exhibitor's negligence.
10. The exhibitor shall ensure that all demonstrations, interviews, advertising promotion and other sales/ marketing        activities are conducted within the stand. Audiovisual displays may be conducted within the stands but at a low        volume.
11. The exhibitor shall ensure that the stall is vacated within one day from the close of the exhibition on the last day. The        organiser will not in any way be responsible and/or liable for the general security after the close of exhibition on the        last day.
12. In the event the exhibition is abandoned, cancelled or suspended in whole or in part due to reasons of war, fire,        national emergency, labour unrest, non-availability of exhibition premises or any other cause, the organiser may, at        their own discretion, refund in part the rental paid by the exhibitor after adjusting for the basic expenses incurred        without any obligation to do so. The organiser will be under no liability for any actions, claims or losses that may        be incurred by the exhibitor. Exhibitors are advised to seek relevant Insurance cover. Force Majeure clause will apply.
13.  In the event of violation of any above rules, the organiser will have the right to close the exhibitor's stall without any        iability whatsoever.
14.  Any disputes against organizers, Mumbai Mudrak Sangh or its member, will strictly fall under Jursdriction of Mumbai.
15. Disputes, if any shall be settled by mutual arbitration. Failing a decision by arbitration, the courts of competent        jurisdiction at Mumbai only shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in all disputes arising under this contract and their         decision will be final and binding on all parties concerned.
16. The exhibitor shall not assign and/or part with any part of area allotted to him under this contract to any other party,        without the prior consent of the organizer in writing.
17. Wherever Indoor Raw Space is allocated, the exhibitor will have to erect the stand at their own cost in line with “The        rules and Guidelines for Design and construction of stand” for PRINTECH 2009.
18. Cancellation: By signing and concluding of this contract, the exhibitor hereby agrees to indemnify the organizer for the         losses at the following rates, in case of withdrawal of participation:
       * Upto15th September 2009                                 : 30% of total rentals
       * From 16th September to 31st October 2009  : 50% of total rentals
       * From 1st November 2009                                  : 100% of total rentals
19. Sale of Exhibits: During the exhibition, sales of goods will not be allowed, for the sake of proper government formalities        (tax, customs duty etc.) unless to be completed by the exhibitor.
20. Removal of any exhibits during the fair period is prohibited.
21. Clearance of exhibits: All exhibits including stand material to be removed by 22nd December 2009. After closure of        Exhibition at 1800 hrs. on 21st December 2009, organizers will not be responsible if exhibitors fail to comply with        this date.
22. Handling of Exhibits Customs and Import procedure: The Organiser will appoint official clearing and freight forwarding        agencies for PRINTECH 2009 who will assist in handling customs formalities, if required. Exhibitors would have to        contact them directly for such assistance. Movement of exhibits in the Fair Grounds by agencies other than the official        clearing and forwarding agents is strictly prohibited.
23. Photography: The organizer reserves the right to photograph / video shoots any stand / exhibit for their own use.
24. Settlement of Dues: Any and all expenses chargeable to an exhibitor must be settled before taking possession of the        stand.
